With the Tigers back in the Championship, 2010/11 was very successful for the meetings of the Senior Tigers. It saw the membership limited to 150 due to the constraints of the Wilberforce Suite.

We began with SEAN RUSH and MATT REEVES from the backroom team, to be followed in October by ANDY DAWSON, whilst in November we were able to welcome CRAIG SHAKESPEARE. Then, for the first time in our history, the Christmas Lunch had to be called off due to the snow. In January, JOHN EYRE, the kit man, visited us, followed by STEVE DEERE in February. In March we welcomed STUART ELLlOTT to be followed in April by past England legend, JOE CORRIGAN. The season closed with the End of Season Lunch at which ADAM PEARSON and CRAIG SHAKESPEARE were our guests, whilst JOE CORRIGAN and STUART WATKISS joined us for coffee.

Our Sponsorship included a donation to the Tigers Trust for kit for the Downs Syndrome team and assistance with the cost of providing covered accommodation for the benches at Ideal Standard for the Youth team. We also purchased a new dual microphone sound system for use at the meetings. Once again, we have to thank Hull City for their help with our meetings, together with KATY and SOPHIE of the Events Team who take care of our meetings and meals. MATT provided Senior Tigers news in the programme, whilst our own BILL SHIRLEY has been his usual helpful self with the PA system. Thanks also to all the ladies who helped the Committee with refreshments. Finally, thanks to Frank Donoghue for his valued help in getting speakers from the playing and coaching side of the club.

Finally, to you, the members, thanks for your continued support and to all members of the Committee for all their help. We look forward to another successful season.
