Who are the Senior Tigers?

The Senior Tigers Club aim is to promote the activities of the Senior Tigers and provide an environment for our Members to enjoy the company of like-minded supporters.

Established in 2000 (see our History page), the Senior Tigers have enjoyed many social occasions and, over the years, reminisced over many football memories through guest speakers who attend our meetings.

The current Committee is following the lead set by the inaugural committee and will continue to hold regular monthly member meetings. The venue for our meetings is usually at the MKM Stadium (formally named the KC and KCOM Stadium respectively). The room and dates for these meetings are available on our Events Calendar. These dates will include the well supported Christmas and end of season May luncheons. At each meeting and luncheon, we hold one of our renowned raffles the proceeds of which help to subsidise the club’s activities and when appropriate local organisations.

In addition to the meetings and luncheons, our Outings section describes the organised trips to various locations and establishments. Other activities and events can be found in our Wellbeing and Social Activities section.

We intend to continue the monthly meetings of the Senior Tigers, the luncheons and organised social activities as part of our ongoing programme. We will endeavour to include a variety of interesting speakers for our meetings and we hope to leave a lasting record in our Social Activities section as this will include reports on the events themselves along with photos.

We encourage all Hull City supporters who are 55 years and over to join the Senior Tigers Club. Joining is easy, just complete our Join Us form or attend one of our regular meetings and register your interest in person.

The very nature of a Senior Tigers Club means that there will be a vast collection of memories and stories that can be told about supporting the Tigers over the decades. We are providing a way to capture those memories by inviting you to add your story to our Share Your Memories section. Any stories sent to us will be considered for entry onto the list of memories for everyone to share.

Following on from Share Your Memories, we found that members also have items of memorabilia that they have collected over the years. To try and find out how much there was out there, we decided in February 2018 to hold a Memorabilia Day at the Stadium, when members were able to display their treasured possessions and memorabilia. We also invited other Hull City fans and supporters to display in some cases their rather large collections. The day far exceeded our expectations so much so that it was decided to create another section for our website. So the Memorabilia Gallery was created.

The Photo and Memorabilia Galleries have now developed further. Collaborating with other organisations and individuals the Gallery has become the place to create a unique record of Hull City Football Club. In this Gallery, there are thousands of items depicting the journey the Tigers have been on since its beginning in 1904 to the present day. Open up the Gallery and you will find Team Photos, Match Action, Player Biographies, Match Day Programmes, Team Sheets, Match Details, Documents and Trophies and much more varied memorabilia across the decades up to the present day.

The Senior Tigers Club is a group of volunteers that is committed to maintaining the history and memories of Hull City AFC for all supporters to share.

Any businesses or organisations that would like to support us financially to maintain this endeavour are invited to get in touch with us by using the Contact Us form. All sponsors will have their logo displayed on this website for 12 months, with a link back to their website.  Click here to visit our Sponsors page.
