Despite a season which saw relegation back to the Championship, and financial problems, the Senior Tigers had a successful season of meetings and, once again, membership was almost to the limit.

We began in September with ANDY McMILLAN as our guest speaker whilst October brought ex-Tiger and new ERCFA Chief Executive, ADAM LOWTHORPE, for a really excellent afternoon. Then in November, it was good to see our ex-Physio, JEFF RADCLIFFE who told us of his Boothferry Park days. Christmas lunch in December saw returning Chairman, ADAM PEARSON, PHIL BROWN and BRIAN HORTON as our guests. The New Year began with injured skipper, IAN ASHBEE visiting in January followed by the irrepressible DENNIS BOOTH in February. In March, STUART WATKISS told us of his work with the young players and in April, JOHN ANDERSON told us of his career and his current involvement with North Ferriby United. As always, the season ended with the usual lunch.

Sponsorship this season was for the Juniors trip to Holland and the provision of an Honours Board for the Juniors base at County Road. The Senior Tigers are grateful for the invaluable help of both Chairmen – PAUL DUFFEN and ADAM PEARSON last season whilst SOPHIE HOUGH and CLARE HUNTER of the Events Team organised the meetings and lunches. We also thank MATT CARRINGTON for our regular notes in the programme and our own BILL SHIRLEY for his help with the PA system. Thanks also go to MARGARET OWEN and MAUREEN RIDSDILL for helping the ladies of the Committee with the refreshments.

Thank you to all our members for your continued support at meetings and to all the members of the Committee for their help. I hope we can keep up the standard this season.
