After a great success last December, we once again set off to see this year’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Pantomime of Aladdin at the City Varieties Music Hall in Leeds. It was enjoyed so much by those members who went last year that even more decided to go this year.

On arriving in Leeds, we had time for a drink and a bite to eat before the afternoon performance. It was a lovely sunny day, the same as last year. The performance contained the usual pantomime dame with cheesy jokes and a show bursting with chart-smashing hits. All performed by a cast of multi-talented actor-musicians.

It was a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon, and we left looking forward to a return visit next Christmas.

Following the panto, we once again headed to The Mermaid Restaurant in Morley for a fish and chip tea.
