We made a return visit to Croft Park Café in Little Weighton for lunch this month. We were last there in February last year, and those who went enjoyed the afternoon so much that it was decided we would make a return visit.
The food at Croft Park is all home-cooked and locally sourced. We had pre-ordered our main courses, but some members on the day chose to follow their main with a dessert for the delicious ones on offer.
Following lunch, we were entertained by their house band, consisting of six singers who are all related. Paul, the owner, was the lead singer, and his two daughters, who work in the café, were also among the singers. It was truly a family affair. They entertained us with songs from the 50s and 60s.
It was a very enjoyable afternoon on a grey, dreary and wet day in January.
